December 2007 Newsletter

Dear Ministry Partners,
The year 2007 has been one of the greatest years we’ve had since we began the ministry. We were able to speak to about 1,000 men and impact about 3,000 children either directly or indirectly. We saw some 340 plus individuals pray to receive Christ. Praise God!!!! The Lord used your prayers and faithful financial support to help make this happen. I praise the Lord for each of you!
God opened the doors for us to start three fathering support programs in three different facilities. Through these programs we are seeing fathers grow closer to the Lord in their walk, and the relationships with their children are being strengthened. I ask you to pray with me about God raising up some local volunteers to work with in the fathering programs, as I don’t want to get so busy I can’t be effective in the call He has placed on my life.
It looks like God is opening the doors for some new ministry opportunities with a couple of churches and two other ministries. Please pray for God’s leadership and discernment as we move forward. Also, pray that God will help me balance my schedule between family time and the ministry.  
We conducted one Great Dads Seminar this month in connection with a One Day with God Camp in the state of Tennessee where we saw five dads and one child give their hearts to Christ. One of the dads from Alexander Correctional was paroled this month and is living with his sister in Greer. He has been in contact with me, and I’ve been able to spend some time with him. He was able to share his testimony at the Salvation Army Seminar. Pray that the Lord will raise up a mentor for him. This can be a tough time for a newly released father. Praise the Lord He opened a job for him quickly!
I just praise God for what he did in 2007 and I’m waiting with expectation to see His Power work in 2008. He has already opened the doors for 21 seminars and One Day with God Camps. Pray that He will show the power of His Spirit working in each event that we may see hearts turned to Him.
