February 2008 Newsletter

Dear Ministry Partners,

As we are in our second month of the New Year, God continues to open more opportunities for ministry. I have been in touch with a gentleman in Spartanburg who heads up an organization called Spartanburg Christian Community Foundation. We may have the opportunity to develop a partnership with this group, along with 15 churches in the area. Pray if this is God’s will, He will pull everything together.
I met a North American missionary this past weekend who shared with me about some funds the South Carolina Convention has to help with literature. We are going to write and see if they can help with some of the literature we use. Pray that if this is God’s will the door would open. Tim also gave me a new contact for the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
PRAISE GOD!!! We have held four seminars this month in three different states and have seen a 119 individuals pray to receive Christ. Three of our seminars were in conjunction with One Day with God Camps. One of the seminars and camp was the most unusual I’ve been involved with. We held the event in a county jail. We not only ministered to the dads and their kids, they opened the entire facility up to us. Through this outreach 26 individuals asked Christ into their hearts. PRAISE GOD!!!!! for the work He’s doing through the prayers of His people and the volunteers He has raised up to help reach out to those needing to hear the Good News.
God has brought two men into my life this month who may be possible associates. One of them has already attended a seminar and is praying about coming on board. I have also received a letter from a gentleman in Virginia. The only way to see this happen is through your prayers and the leadership of the Lord.
We praise God for what He continues to do through Blue Ridge Ministries and our partners in impacting the lives of dads, their children and families.
