January 2008 Newsletter
Dear Ministry Partners,
As awesome as 2007 was, God has already began a great work the first month of this year. We have 27 seminars scheduled this year already with about 10 more to be booked. PRAISE GOD!!!
We have completed three seminars so far and have seen 47 individuals pray to receive Christ and another 58 rededications. PRAISE GOD!!! The Lord works through the prayers of His people, and as we reach out to those in the darkest places I need the prayers of each one of you.
We have been able to develop two partnerships in the Greenville area, one with the Salvation Army and the other with Greenville Rescue Mission. Both of these ministries have an Addiction Recovery Program with two graduation classes each year. We are able to share Great Dad Seminars with each graduating class. I ask you to pray for our partnership with the Salvation Army as we try to expand into the Southeastern region, if God wills.
God has been dealing with me about expanding the ministry, but in order to do this God will need to bring a couple of other men and someone to help part time in the office. The only way to see this happen is through your prayers and the leadership of the Lord. I feel by expanding our venue into churches and other arenas it will give us the opportunity to let others know how they can make a difference in advancing the Kingdom of God.
One of the three Great Dads Seminars held this month was in connection with a One Day with God Camp in the state of Texas, where I had the opportunity to spend some time with the caregivers of the children.
Words cannot express the joy I feel by God allowing me to be just a small part of what He is doing in the lives of dads, children and families. With so many families falling apart today, it’s a wonderful experience to see families being restored.
Again, thank you for all your support and prayers, ministry partners.
In His Service,
Jim Williams
Isa. 54:17: 17: No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, says the LORD.
