June 2007 NewsletterJune 2007 NEWSLETTER This month was awesome. God allowed us to see Him work in the lives of fathers, children and their families. We had the opportunity to present three seminars this month and participate in two One Day With God Camps. Craggy Correctional Institution allowed us to begin another Fantastic Fathers Club this month bringing our total to five. Thirty-three dads attended the first meeting this month. We meet with the dads at Craggy and Alexander once a month. It is a blessing to see how God is working in their lives and the lives of their children. Through the Great Dad Seminars and One Day With God Camp we saw 30 individuals pray to receive Christ. There were 19 dads, two children and nine of the children’s caregivers, also 28 rededications. Glory to God!! On June 23 I was at Alexander Juvenile Detention Center in Taylorsville, NC, with Forgiven Ministries. There were 23 young people being held there ranging in ages from 12 to 17. We did a One Day With God Camp; we invited the parents in to spend the day with their children. The sad thing was only three sets of parents came. The great thing was that the volunteers stepped up to the plate and became their parents for the day. I had the opportunity to spend the day with a young man named Jerome who was just 15. When you talk to these young people the greatest need in their lives is for someone to love and share Jesus with them. At the end of the day we had about a 45-minute quiet time with them, and 10 of them prayed to receive Christ. My prayer is for God to bring godly people into their lives to disciple them. God brought a gentleman into my life this past month that is helping get our website up. This will give us the opportunity to post our schedule and some stories from the fathers we work with. I will, also be able to share some of the experiences God allows in our life. Ouida and I covet your prayers as we pursue a life of service in ministry. In His Service
