November 2007 Newsletter

Dear Ministry Partners,

As we enter the season of the year when we celebrate the birth of our Lord, I would like to wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR, as it will be the first of January before the next newsletter.
This has been a great year, and I want to thank each of you for your prayers and financial support.
It is only through the work of the Holy Spirit and your faithfulness that we’ve been able to see God work in so many ways. I would like for you to see what he has done through Great Dads Seminars and One Day With God Camps. We have seen 343 individuals pray to receive Christ, which includes 55 children and 25 caregivers of the children.
PRAISE GOD!!!!
We held two Great Dads Seminars this month in institutions in the lower part of the state. We were in MacDougall Correctional in Ridgeville, S.C., and Ridgeland Correctional in Ridgeland, S.C., where we had 30 dads pray to receive Christ in these two seminars. Chaplain Wren at Ridgeland wants to start a monthly fathering program the first of 2008 like we have in six other institutions in three states. I need your prayers as we move forward with this program. This has been one of the most effective follow-up programs I’ve seen. The administration in the facilities where we have this program in place say the attitude of the men has improved 100 percent. The greatest need for this program is volunteers to help work with the dads.
We have one seminar and camp left this year in December. It will be in East Tennessee in the first facility in Tennessee to host a seminar and camp. I ask you to pray if it’s God’s will this will be the first of many come.
Your prayers are coveted as when the event in Tennessee is completed, I will be meeting with some potential new ministry partners. We are talking to a couple of churches and several pastors I’ve met this year. My prayer is that God will form the partnerships He wants. You can also pray for my schedule in 2008. Already we have booked 20 seminars and camps not including the standing engagements I have each year.
Again thank you for all your support and prayers. Words could never be found to express my gratitude for what you do. I am praying God will bless each of you a hundred fold.
In His Service,
Jim Williams
